Abstract:
Designated Wolf Recovery Areas -- The Central Idaho Nonessential Experimental Wolf Population Area is bounded on the north by I-90 in Idaho and by US-12 and I-90 in Montana. It is bounded on the east by I-15. The Yellowstone Nonessential Experimental Wolf Population Area is bounded by the Missouri River on the north and I-15 on the west. It includes all of Wyoming. The Northwest Montana Recovery Area is bounded by the Missouri River east of Great Falls, I-15 between Great Falls and Butte, I-90 between Butte and Missoula, US-12 between Missoula and Lolo Pass, the Montana-Idaho boundary between Lolo Pass and Lookout Pass, and by I-90 in Idaho. All of Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming are included in one of these areas.
