<DD>Color aerial photographs of the Butte, Montana area that have been mosaicked, georeferenced, and orthorectified.  This data set was prepared for the Atlantic Richfield Company, which provided it to the Butte/Silver Bow government.  The Butte/Silver Bow GIS department provided the data to the Montana State Library as images with a pixel size of 6 inches.  The State Library re-sampled the images to a resolution of 1 foot.</DD>

<DD>Digital images or aerial photographs were captured to support various corporate, governmental, municipal, and emergency management GIS activities.  Orthorectified imagery products will be used to identify and collect geospatial information about structures, transportation, infrastructure, facilities and other information relative to multiple GIS applications.</DD><BR><DT CLASS="subsec">Time period of content:</DT>
